YouTube RPM by country
RPM is what a creator earns per 1,000 views after YouTube's share. It changes a lot with where your viewers live: the same video can earn several times more from viewers in one country than in another. Use the calculator, then compare all 20 audiences in the table.
NicheLab estimates — not YouTube data. YouTube does not publish RPM by country; real earnings depend on your channel.

What RPM means
RPM (revenue per mille) is your share of ad and YouTube Premium revenue for every 1,000 views, after YouTube's cut. It is lower than CPM, which is what advertisers pay. YouTube shows your real RPM in YouTube Studio once your channel is monetized.
Why the audience country matters most
Advertisers pay more to reach viewers in markets where they spend more. That is why an English channel watched in the US, UK or Australia usually earns far more per view than a Tagalog channel watched in the Philippines. You don't need to move abroad: you need viewers abroad, which mostly comes down to the language and topic you choose.
How we estimate these numbers
NicheLab starts from a typical RPM range for US viewers in each topic group, then applies a factor for each audience. These are our own estimates for planning, not figures published by YouTube. Season, video length, ad settings and viewer age all move real RPM up or down.
Questions
What is a good RPM for Filipino YouTubers?
For a channel watched mostly in the Philippines, our estimate is roughly 0.24–0.72 US dollars per 1,000 views for entertainment content. Education and finance topics usually earn more. Your real RPM appears in YouTube Studio under Analytics → Revenue after you join the YouTube Partner Program.
Do Shorts have the same RPM?
No. Shorts are paid from a shared pool and usually earn much less per 1,000 views than long videos. The table above is for long videos. From 1 February 2027, a channel also needs at least 10 million qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days to get a monthly share of Shorts ad revenue from the Creator Pool.
How can I earn more per view?
Make videos in a language and on a topic that viewers in higher-RPM countries search for, and make videos long enough for mid-roll ads (8 minutes or more). Check a niche's demand before you commit to it.
Is this data from YouTube?
No. YouTube does not publish RPM by country. These are NicheLab's planning estimates.
