How is NicheLab different from YouTube-only tools?

Most research tools cover YouTube only and charge a monthly subscription in USD. NicheLab searches YouTube, TikTok and Instagram Reels together, analyses Douyin, Bilibili and Xiaohongshu channels (where trends often start), covers TikTok Shop affiliate, writes in Taglish and other local languages, and lets you pay per run.

Where does the data come from? Is it accurate?

Live public data from the official YouTube Data API and TikHub (a social-media data gateway), plus Google Search demand when enabled. Views, likes and followers are read at the moment you run the search. Scores and income figures are estimates, not guarantees.

Do I need to buy a plan?

No. Top up your wallet and every feature is available, paid per run (data costs included). Pro is only for people who want to use their own API keys (TikHub, YouTube, Gemini, DeepSeek): the Pro fee is for the software and does NOT include API costs — you pay the providers directly, and in return runs are not charged to your wallet.

How much does one niche dig cost?

$0.03 per dig. The exact cost and your balance after the run are shown before you click; repeating the same search while it is cached costs 50%, re-opening saved results is free, and failed runs are never charged.

How do I pay?

By card or PayPal through our payment partner, which acts as merchant of record and handles tax. You can also redeem credit codes bought from an authorised local reseller (for example via GCash).

Does wallet credit expire?

No. Credit is only used when you run research, and it does not expire while the service operates.

If I renew Pro early, do I lose days?

No. Renewing early adds the new period to your current end date.

Are my own API keys safe?

Keys are encrypted on our server (Fernet: AES with an HMAC signature), sent only over HTTPS, never written to logs, and only the last 4 characters are ever shown back. They are used only to call the APIs for you, and you can delete them at any time.

I don't read Chinese. Can I use Douyin data?

Yes. Douyin → local trend ideas adapts Chinese trends for your market, and AI reports (strategy, teardown, scripts) are written in your interface language.

How does the referral program work?

How do refunds work?
