Quickly check whether a topic is worth making: demand, supply, which videos are winning.
Steps
- Type a 2–4 word topic; separate up to 3 keywords with commas.
- Pick the market, 30 days and the format you plan to make (Shorts / long videos).
- Keep AI off-topic filter and Hide 18+ on.
- Click Dig now, read the Niche Score, confidence and the Long vs Shorts table.
- Green niche → Breakout Channels, Deep dig into 3 sub-niches, or Winning Topics.
✓ What a good result looks like
- Niche Score ≥ 70 (green); 50–69 means consider
- High confidence (≥ 60 videos) or medium (30–59)
- Small channels with videos ≥ 3× their channel median (≥ 10× = viral)
- Make the format with the higher outlier rate
✕ Common mistakes
- Keyword too broad ("movies", "food") → diluted results.
- Topic phrase too narrow (the whole long phrase must appear) → almost every video is filtered out; put a shorter phrase in "On-topic phrases".
- Looking at million-view videos of big channels: that is channel power, not niche demand.
